From this Thursday January 24, Virgin Blue offers you the flexibility to book connecting travel with Virgin Blue. This means that more low fares will be available to even more destinations Australia wide.

You'll be able to start booking connecting travel from today, Thursday January 24, for travel across the Virgin Blue network from 14 February 2002. Our current schedule enables you to book connecting flights until March 30. The schedule for travel on connecting flights beyond March 30 will be available soon. Connecting flights can be booked online or for $5 more each way by phone.

Connecting fares will enable you to travel on the one fare on up to 2 single flight sectors. So for instance, you could travel from Sydney to Cairns, with a transit in Brisbane. While you'll have a short transit stop in Brisbane and you may even need to change aircraft, your bags will be checked through to your final destination.
