easyJet launches flights to Paris!

Fantastic news: easyJet is starting flights from London Luton and Liverpool to Paris early this summer! It will also be operating services from Paris to both Geneva and Nice.

This is good news for consumers on both sides of the English Channel as it offers another exciting destination to passengers in the UK already familiar with the airline's great-value services. It also means that Parisians will now have the option of flying with a genuine low-cost airline with a proven track record of low fares and profitability.

The airline's development in Paris marks the latest phase in its European expansion. By mid-June the airline will have aircraft operating through the two principal Paris airports (Orly and Charles de Gaulle), offering a total of 15 flights per day.

The schedule is as follows:

  • London Luton to Paris Charles de Gaulle - 5 fights a day from 12 June. One-way fares including tax and charges from 17.50 GBP

  • Liverpool to Paris Charles de Gaulle - 2 flights a day from 2 May. One-way fares including tax and charges from 17.50 GBP

  • Paris Orly to Geneva - 4 flights a day from 10 May. One-way fares including tax and charges from 22.50 EUR

  • Paris Charles de Gaulle to Nice - 4 flights a day from 18 June. One-way fares including tax and charges from 22.50 EUR

Plus increases on existing routes...

As part of the current phase of growth, easyJet will also be adding more daily flights on four existing routes:

  • Liverpool to Nice - increases to 2 daily flights from 1 May

  • Liverpool to Belfast - increases to 7 daily flights from 1 May

  • Geneva to Nice - increases to 3 flights a day from 10 May

  • London Luton to Belfast - increases to 6 flights a day from 13 June

easyJet flights from London Gatwick on sale for summer 2002!

  

All easyJet flights to and from London Gatwick airport between 31 March and 26 October 2002 will go on sale from Saturday morning (9 February), exclusively online at easyJet.com.

  

easyJet services at London Gatwick have increased dramatically in recent weeks and the airline now flies to eight destinations within the UK and mainland Europe. In fact, it's now the second largest scheduled carrier at the airport, so if you hadn't realised that easyJet was a major player at London Gatwick, think again!

  

The details of the summer 2002 programme from London Gatwick are as follows:

  • Amsterdam - four flights a day in each direction

  • Barcelona - three flights a day in each direction

  • Edinburgh - up to five flights a day in each direction

  • Geneva - two flights a day in each direction

  • Majorca (Palma) - two flights a day in each direction

  • Malaga - two flights a day in each direction

  • Nice - up to two flights a day in each direction

  • Zurich - two flights a day in each direction
